Frequently asked (patient perspective)
Does anyone see my query?
By default, query text is NOT stored. Only anonymous metadata (vertical, language, city, recommendation slugs) is kept. If you check 'consent to store for 30 days', the full text is kept for 30 days then auto-deleted.
Who generates the response — a human or AI?
Anthropic Claude Sonnet (AI). Output passes 3 validation layers: PII redaction (input), Tabip Odası ad-rule validator (output), physician voice-card slug verification. Human operator reviews edge cases.
Is contacting the physician free?
Yes. MedSelect is NOT an appointment / matching platform — we don't take commissions. You contact the recommended physician directly through their own website. Pricing + availability are between you and the clinic.
What if I have an emergency?
Emergency keywords (bleeding, unconscious, can't breathe, etc. — across 11 languages) are detected before sending to the LLM; you get a direct 112 (TR) or local emergency number redirect. This form is NOT for emergencies.
Can I find a physician who speaks my language?
Yes. Write your query in any of 11 languages. The system uses each physician's knowsLanguage Schema data — if no match, a translator is suggested.
Why isn't there a 'best physician' ranking?
Per Tabip Odası (Turkish Medical Chamber) ad rules, we don't rank physicians as 'best'. We present 2-3 names matching your description with rationale for each. The choice — and the personal consultation — is yours.
